  • 1.  Security duties/privileges to be able to print a Returned order document

    I am trying to determine which security role (or duty or privilege) allows a user to print the Return order document for an RMA.  Currently users with Sys Admin access can print this document but I am trying to remove Sys Admin from the user roles.

    When I set up users with some of the various AR, Customer service and Sales roles, and they try to print the Return order document they are receiving the following error:

    If anyone has an idea on the correct role, duty or privilege I would appreciate the help.

    Looking within the AOT, we can find that button ties to the ReturnDocument_Action menu item output:

    Using that information, I can run a role access report (from Fastpath) to generate the roles, duties, and privileges that have access to this button:

    Looking at your actual error though it doesn't appear that this is a permission issue to the actual button as I would expect a different error if it was (or the button wouldn't show up). It could be an issue with the user not having access to the data consumed by this report. To get a more detailed error you may have look into the logs on the reporting server or 'enable remote error' functionality.
