Journal totals not updating on the header

  • 1.  Journal totals not updating on the header

    Hi All,

    I'm working on Vendor Invoice Journal and Payment journal. When I update the amounts on the lines the totals on the header does not get updated.
    I want to update *ledgerJournalTable.JournalTotalDebit*. LedgerJournalEngine supposed to auto update this field.

    LedgerJournalEngine
    =================
    Write method
    this.ledgerJournalTableUpdateTotals(ledgerJournalTable, true);

    but still not updating.

    Is there anyway to make this happen.

    Hi percy,

    In the LedgerJournalTable -   Sum of Total debit and Total Credit should be updated automatically based on the amount which we updated in Journal lines.

    Because its the source class and form for financial transaction.

    My suggestion is to raise a MS ticket.

    Does anyone have an update on this?  Is it a known-issue?  If you post an invoice journal like this, will it post incorrectly?

    Hello Brad

    I can't tell what was the issue with the journal header totals, but these fields are merely informational. An issue with the header totals will not affect posting the invoice, since line amounts are used for posting and not header amounts.
