Can an Info Code apply to a shift start?

    System: Dynamics 365 for Retail
Scenario: An organization uses an honor system for guests to go to various remote locations and pay for access via an envelope honor system. They will put their cash in an envelope or write their credit card info in the envelope and drop the envelope in repository/safe.

At the end of the day, these envelopes are collected from the various locations. Then these transactions are processed at the back office on a POS register.

Need: The user needs to group the transactions by remote location.

Possible Solution: At the POS, start a shift and key the transactions which came from remote location "A". After these are entered, start a new shift and key transactions for remote location "B".

Question: Is it possible to prompt for information (i.e. Info Code) at the start of a shift so that the remote location information can be tagged to the shift? The user DOES NOT want to have to do an Info Code for each transaction.
