    Hello,

I am the Controller for a manufacturing firm in Tucson.  We have been on SAGE 200 for 14+ years.  We were recently purchased by a German Corporation which is using Dynamics AX 2012.  I have been given the task of converting over to AX and setting everything up properly.  Our Corporate office does have a German partner.

I am looking for a recommendation of a local partner in Arizona that I can start some discussions with.  I do not want to violate any partner rules or step on any partners toes.

I believe I will need some intense one on one training in addition to any academies or online training.

I am going to need to learn a lot and need some help as I know almost nothing about AX.

Can someone please make some recommendations on a local partner?

    Hi Norman,

Welcome to the world of AX.  Depending upon your licensing of the product, Microsoft has loads of on-line training options available from very introductory to advanced.  As well, if you google YouTube, there are ALOT of videos out there on just about every subject in AX that can help you get your feet wet.

    Kindest,

    Hello Norman!

As Rod said, Welcome to the wild world of AX!
And he has given you great advice.

Also, you can find some good AX info on Microsoft Customer Source.
You can ask your AX Partner in Germany to add you to Customer Source if you don't have access now.

I am with Sikich, a large Dynamics partner (GP, AX, NAV,D365) with 21 offices across the US.
We work with German partners on several projects where companies are in both US and Germany.

Like Rod, I am also in Phoenix, and I went to U of Arizona in Tucson, and my parents live there.

Are you looking for more 1 on 1 training sessions?
Or is there a group of folks in Tucson who need training?

Good luck with AX, and enjoy this heat!

    Regards,
