    Survey:

Which department in your company is responsible for Inventory Recalculations?

    Hey Kyle,

At my last organization, it was generally done by the Finance Manager, who also oversaw the monthly counting journal / inventory close process for all sites. We used FIFO costing method.

    Hi,

i guess the highest interest on the recalculation is by finance  / controlling.
Our case finance ( controlling department) is doing / checking it

We are a manufacturing company using a mix of standard and FIFO costing on AX 2012 R2.  Our Cost Accountants are responsible for inventory recalculation and inventory close.
