    Dear All,

I have to run MRP for a company, holding a large scale chain stores. As for the delivery date of orders I read the below mentioned text in the docs of Microsoft.
"The receipt date of a purchase indicates the date when you will receive the goods. It will be an open date in the calendar. The calendar that will be taken into account to indicate which days the purchase orders can be received are the following, in order from highest to lowest priority: 1. Vendor's calendar 2. Coverage group calendar 3. Warehouse calendar for the receiving warehouse"

Does anyone know what priority means here?
The receive date should be open in all three calendars of vendor, coverage group and warehouse? and if one of them is closed then that day is not considered for delivery?

I will be grateful for any help you can provide.

    Hi Mohamed,
What this means is the hierarchy of the calendars that determines the dates that will be used. So for example, if you have all of those calendars setup, the dates on the Vendor calendar will be used.Even if coverage group calendar has the day blocked, the Vendor calendar has priority so would be used on the PO and hence be the delivery date of the line.
