  • 1.  No lines for posting on a transfer order when trying to receive

    Good Day,

    We have picked up a number of errors when trying to receive a transfer order, whereby it states there are no lines for posting.  Upon investigation the stock transactions have not created in the receiving site.

    What could be the cause of this.  Is this a bug or a processing issue.

    I look forward to any input on this.

    Yes, please see the below screenshot.

     

     

    This happens on the mobile device, however, this also happens when selecting posting – receive transfer order full screen.

     

    Your input on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Dear,
    could you update "Receive Now" filed any value in Line Details and try to do Receive.

    Hi,

     

    Yes, what we have found is when completing the Receive now and selecting the line value, which would bring down the stock that you are receiving, this is where it is actually blank.

    I concur with Dianbandhu, it could also be the 'Update' field in the dialogue, that has e.g. 'Receive now' staus, but your lines does not have that status.

    Yes, this is the problem.  The transaction is not reflecting correctly in order to process the transfer order.

    Unfortunately we have developed a job to force the transfer order to received.
    Due to the fact that the transfer order being shipped we have not been able to find any other solution to this.
