From General ledger > Chart of accounts > Accounts > Main accounts, does someone know if we can see in which account structure a main account is part of?

Unfortunately no, that would be very nice though.

Yes you can, just double click on one of the accounts, and on the Main Accounts 0 chart of accounst screen, there is a fast tab for Advanced Rules, where you can see the rules that are applied to that account.

    Thanks,

Nobuko, I believe the OP asked about account structures, not advanced account rules/structures.

If you have SQL access to the database it may be possible - some sample SQL below, although it may need a fair bit of tweaking to match your setup.

    Caveats:
    - This was written against AX2012 R3, but it probably works on other versions
    - Our Chart of Accounts is called "COA", and every AccountStructure starts with "COA" e.g. "COA BS Cost Centre"
    - We don't use advanced rules

    select
    ma.mainaccountid,
    dh.name
    from DIMENSIONHIERARCHY dh
left join DIMENSIONHIERARCHYLEVEL dhl on dhl.DIMENSIONHIERARCHY = dh.RECID
left join DIMENSIONCONSTRAINTNODE dcn on dcn.DIMENSIONHIERARCHYLEVEL = dhl.RECID
left join DIMENSIONCONSTRAINTNODECRITERIA dcnc on dcnc.DIMENSIONCONSTRAINTNODE = dcn.RECID
    left join
    (
    select ma.mainaccountid, ma.name
    from MAINACCOUNT ma
left join LedgerChartOfAccounts lcoa on lcoa.RECID = ma.LEDGERCHARTOFACCOUNTS
    where lcoa.name = 'COA'
    ) ma on ma.MAINACCOUNTID >= dcnc.RANGEFROM and ma.MAINACCOUNTID <= dcnc.RANGETO
    where dh.name like 'COA%'
    and level_ = 1
    and ma.mainaccountid is not null

One way to at least see all the accounts without having to open each account structure is to export the Account structure allowed vales entity  from Data management.
