Hi All,

When we initially uploaded budgets using the "Budget Register Entries", we were going to have a budget model for each year, however, after one year we realized the financial reporter tool and PowerBI we use to make budget vs actual reports would be much easier if all years were contained under one model rather than updating each year.

Is there a way to delete the budget entries and budget models related to 2020 so I can re-upload them to the generic budget models we're going to use going forward? It has the delete button greyed out for me, but maybe it's just a different higher role that needs to delete. I understand the reasoning for not allowing deletion, but would think some role should allow for that ability.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Laura,

Whether good or bad, it's just like a posted entry - the only way to 'remove' it is to reverse it, which means basically re-importing it backwards.  It works fine, and doesn't really hurt anything to leave the old data out there (other that aesthetics).

Hi Laura,

You can reimport the same file by -ve sign (Debit to Credit and vice versa) using the same budget model.
