Function TaxMap.parmSourceDocLineTypeEnumValue has been incorrectly called.

    Hello,

A couple of our AP users in the past have run into an error when posting an invoice. The error would be "TaxMap.parmSourceDocLineTypeEnumValue has been incorrectly called." Historcially, how I was told to fix this is to add two Tables with all grant permissions to their security role; Taxuncommited and TaxUncommitedTaxTransTmp. This would then allow the invoice to post.

However, we upgraded this weekend and now I am recieivng the error in AP again although they have access to these tables now.
Furthermore, I am now trying to confirm 2 POs and I am getting a similar error message: "PostingPurchase order: BC031162 Function TaxMap.parmSourceDocLineTypeEnumValue has been incorrectly called."

Has anyone run into this before, and how did you circumvent it? I am still relatively new to D365 but my understanding is that posting a PO doesnt create a finacial transaction so now I am really stumped as to why we are getting this error. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

    Hi

We had this recently after changing some account structures - it's a known issue and has been fixed in the latest quality update.

However, to get around it, delete any orphan records in the SourceDocumentLine table as this is what's causing the issue.
