Atlas 6.1 Filtering

  • 1.  Atlas 6.1 Filtering

    Hi All,

I am trying to filter an Atlas 6.1 report by excluding more than 1 value for a column. I tried using the NOT EQUAL (!=) operator on a single value and it works just fine, however, it does not work if I want to exclude multiple values. It however, works if I include multiple values in the filter, but that will not work in the long run as I would have to keep adding new values in, thus, excluding 2 out of 100 is way quicker than including 98 out of 100.

e.g. !=ABC,!=DEF does not work, !=ABC,DEF does not work, !=ABC||!=DEF does not work, !=ABC||DEF does not work as well.

Is there a specific way to code it?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

If you want to pass a value to Atlas, you don't need the equals sign. This works just fine:

You don't need the = sign. Just format like this:

    !ABC,!DEF,!GHI

You can even mix with values you want:

    A..F,!D..E

    Which would return A,B,C,F.

    Daren,

You should be able to use !ABC,!DEF

    Daren,

Try your first option again, and this time remove the "=' signs.
    !ABC,!DEF

I am currently on 6.1 and frequently filter in this manner.
