    Hello UG365,

Little question about "Vendor master data".
It seams there is two places where we can enter "Contacts information" (see image attached).

Does someone knows the differences between the two?

    Thanks

The top screenshot you provided is based on "company contacts", where the second screenshot is based on what we call "Global Contacts".  Basically, Company Contacts don't get shared when you release a vendor to another company.  However, if you release a vendor to another company, the Global Contact gets transferred to the company which you released the vendor.  Also, if you change a contact from "Global Contact", it changes the contact for every company from which you released or linked the vendor.

Vendor "Company Contacts" also plays a part in the primary contact on the "Purchasing Demographics" tab.  Once you assign a company contact, you can then assign a "Primary Contact".  I use the primary contact to send PO's via email, as long as the Primary Contact has an email address and marked as Primary.

    Hi Erick,

    Thank you for the answer,
Other question. Is there an easy way to only give access to "Global contact" (2nd screenshot)?
Do you know if it's more in "Duties" or "Privileges"? Or do you need to look more in "Display menu items"?

    Thanks
