    Hi All

Until a few months back I was able to get very useful information on AX tables from MSDN/TechNet.
Search for "inventtable table ax" resulted in links to details on the table including overall purpose of table, field names and descriptions, enum listings, relationships to other tables etc.

Such searches no longer provide any relevant information. I do not see this in docs.microsoft.com either.
Any suggestions on where i can may acquire such details? I can dig into the AOT etc. but that takes way more time............

Thanks & wishing all a Merry Christmas & great upcoming new year!

    Hi Rohit,

I've noticed this too for AX 2009, so I've started bookmarking my most used table. You only need to one though as you navigate to the other tables using the left hand pane

If this is D365, use the Field Names form (mi=FieldDescriptions).  Many of the descriptions were put there.

The Dynamics AX  glossary is here Microsoft Dynamics AX glossary

I like those old pages as well. Always used the AX2012 articles to get the field information for D365.

    Rohit,

I've bookmarked this page, it allows you to get to all application tables and on the bottom of the left hand scroll is a link to the system tables as well.

    Good Morning,

Not sure what version of AX you are on but for 2012 I have this page bookmarked as my starting point:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/dynamics/ax-2012/reference/cc652476(v=ax.60)

From there I select Application Tables and drill down.

    Thanks,
    Barclay
