We are trying to establish the automated Bank Rec in AX, and having the most difficult time generating a report out of Bank of America that has Beginning and Ending Ledger Balance in the BAI2 format that is required.
Does anyone out there utilize the automated Bank Rec and do business with BOA that could direct me to the proper report to use?
    Thanks- Wes

    Hi,
Have you already checked out the following MS docs Website?

Did you try asking BofA what formats do they provide for bank reconciliation?

although I find it hard to believe they do not support BAI2, maybe they provide some other format supported by Dynamics such as MT940 etc.

Are you using Bank Of America/BAML's CashPro platform or the small business online banking?

Thanks for all the responses - Yes, working with BOA to figure this out.

We are using CashPro, but appears that the Beginning Ledger Balance field is not something that is populated in any of our statements.

Scheduled to talk with BOA Tech Support next week, and hope to get it resolved then.

Any resolution here? Just got off the phone with BofA as their remittance transmission is just discarding customer remittance advice. They very clearly told us that they DO NOT SUPPORT BAI2, only BAI.  So, they only support the file format that is 50 years old but not the newer version that is 34 years old?

We are going to test having the bank send us EDI820 instead of BAI since they can't figure out how to include our customer remittance advice, which could include 100+ deductions for some larger customers/orders/payments.
