AX2012 R3 - W2 Local Tax Information

    ​Good Morning:

    We are using the Payroll module and reside in States where Local taxes apply.  We have not been able to get this information (out of the box) to display/print on a  W2 or export the information by using the W2 report.

    For those that have Local taxes, how are you handling?  What solution do you use to print/distribute your W2s.  We have an add-on solution in place that allows our Associates to get their Pay Statements and W2s (first year) electronically. Has anyone gone the route of creating a customization to accomplish this?

    The W2 information that we export/generate from AX2012-R3 has not ever included Local Tax information - Boxes 18, 19 and 20 on the W2 form.

    Any insight or experience you can share is appreciated.

    We use payroll in AX 2012 R2, and we have one employee in Indiana with local taxes. We are able to print the local information out of standard AX in boxes 18, 19 and 20. In Tax Codes (Payroll -> Setup -> Taxes -> Tax Codes) in the reporting fast tab, do you have "Tax code description" next to Form W-2 box 20 label method?
