Bill of Lading - include Sales Order notes

  • 1.  Bill of Lading - include Sales Order notes

    I am working with D365FO and will be going live soon.

    Notes on a Sales Order (both at the header level and line level) are included in the Confirmation and Packing Slip.  However, I have not been able to find a way to include them on the Bill of Lading.

    Has anyone else had the need and found a way to include SO notes on the BOL?

    Warehouse Mgmt -> Setup -> Warehouse Mgmt Parameters -> Reports -> Bill of Lading note type should do it.  I believe the note needs to be flagged as external.  Edit:  And best of luck with your go live!.
