    I am in search of a replacement for GP smart list that my Accountant team utilized for auditing report purposes. We currently migrated to D365 F&O on-prem.

    It will help if you explained what does that "smart list" do.
    I heard the term, but I don't know what exactly it means

    Amber,
    We use a mixture of options from DMF (Exports) through to Electronic reporting, D365 supports regional audit file extracts. General Ledger > Periodic Tasks > "Export Data" supports audit file extracts, you can download configuration from LCS to support.
