Unauthorized Partner Change

Has anyone else ever experienced an unauthorized partner change? Our current partner asked me why we switched. I checked customer source and saw that there was a different partner listed recently. I know for a fact no one at my company approved a change. I can switch it back but am very curious how that can happen when we did not approve it. Are there any resources to reach out to at MS to learn more about how this happened? Coincidentally I receive a sales call from the company in question about a week before and told them we were not interested in their services at all.

Microsoft requires the signature of an Administrator of your CustomerSource account (manual) or your CustomerAccount PIN (electronic) to make a partner of record change. I would ask your partner to reach out to them to find out how the change was made.
