In AX2012 You used to have the ability to assign the method of a class to the Server Method on a Security role or a Privilege.  How do you do this in D365.  That option isn't available in the tree of security item.

    Katrina,

Just want to clarify what you are trying to accomplish?

Are you wanting to ensure that a particular method on a class is executed on the server compared to the client?
Or are you just wanting to be sure that a particular security layer (role/duty/privilege) has access to execute a method?
    Or something else?

I am wanting to be sure that a particular security layer (role/duty/privilege) has access to execute a method of a class.

    Katrina,

You shouldn't need to assign security directly to the method on a class, instead if you assign access to the menu item display, action, or output that calls this method your security layer should have access to execute the method.
