We have not yet begun work on 10.0.7, however I will chime in with some generic upgrade advise.

We were burned with an update earlier in the year that introduced a defect in the commission calculation functionality.  We immediately identified an available hotfix for the issue and applied it.  When we took a subsequent update, we assumed that the hotfix would be included.  It wasn't.  It continued to be a hotfix and was in the quality update to the new release.  This happened for an additional release.  We asked Microsoft why this happened and they didn't have an answer.

So my upgrade advise is as follows:

    1.  Do not assume that previous hotfixes are rolled into the next release.
    2.  Immediately after upgrading an environment, always apply the quality release available for the upgrade.
