AX 2012 R3 - Plan for after October 2021?

Are you doing in-house payroll processing from AX 2012 R3? If so, what are your future plans for payroll after October 2021 when the tax updates are no longer supported/published? I am curious to hear from anyone in this situation as we are currently exploring our options.

We do not currently use AX 2012 Payroll, instead we are leaving a 38 YR old legacy system to implement Ceridian Dayforce HCM.  There are integrations setup for D365FO and Dayforce.  We have not explored those yet as we have placed some personnel functions in Dayforce directly. Most likely we will try to integrate workers and positions for Forecast positions functionality in D365FO budget planning module. Right now we are just focused on getting payroll, personnel and benefits admin online with a GL interface, then will revisit a tighter integration potentially through the below:
Configure integration with Dayforce - Human Resources | Dynamics 365
    Microsoft remove preview
Configure integration with Dayforce - Human Resources | Dynamics 365
The integration between Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources and Ceridian Dayforce relies on several configuration steps that are described in this article. You must configure the integration in both Human Resources and Dayforce before you can process a pay run.

Just a minor clarification: Dynamics 365 Human Resources is the package formerly known as Talent.  It's not the same as D365FO, even though FO does also have a human resources module within it.  As I understand it, the Ceridian integration works with HR/Talent, not FO.

We had this problem as well, only earlier since we are on AX 2012 R2.  It was very disappointing that Microsoft stopped updating tax tables!
We ended up going with a Ascentis for our payroll solution.  We wanted to keep payroll in house, but struggled to find a good solution.  We outsourced because Ascentis made it cost effective for us.  They will also be taking care of our payroll taxes.
We just went live with the time tracking piece yesterday, and are going live with the payroll solution next week.  Feel free to reach out in a few weeks to see how it is going.

    Good luck!
