New Command Buttons adds to wrong table

Hello, newbie here. This is actually my first post.
I added a New command button to a detail grid/fast tab. The datasource is set to the details table. But when I click New, it adds a record to the header. Any suggestions? Thanks.

The new button on the main action pane acts against the first master data source and so will every other New command button unless they are in an action pane with their datasource set to the grid you want to control.
