D365 Pricing Options

    Hello all.

    I am trying to figure out how to do a customer specific pricing scheme; hoping you can help.  I have been trying to research if Trade Agreements can help, but not seeing how…

     Company offers different entertainment packages (cable TV). Products are:


    • Entertainment
    • Sports
    • Cinema
    • Family


    When selling them, the first item, no matter which one, sells for $12.99 / month. Each additional package sells for $5.00 per month.

    How can I set up D365 so that no matter which order I pick the items, the pricing above applies? There are some dimensions available on trade agreements; is there a dimension I might use to indicate if an item is the first or second (or later) picked and adjust the price that way? I am trying with Price Groups but struggling….

    I don't think trade agreements will help.
    However, you may consider, based on this pricing structure, using a base item.  For example have a mandatory basic service at $7.99 with each package at $5.00.  This would match the pricing structure and the invoicing would not be too different from other service providers.

    I agree that trade agreements will not work for what you are looking for.
    I suggest you look into subscription functionality. There are some pricing options and grouping for subscriptions that might match to what you are looking for.
    I would start with Wiki and setup some examples with different groups and prices.
