D365FO Data entities

    Hello,

    Does someone know how i can find what is include in D365FO data entities?

    Because i would like to know which entities i will need to use if we need to extract data for "DAta retention".

    I would like to know more about:
    - PO and attached document (how to extract)
    - GL & Subledger data (how to extract)
    - Invoices customers data (how to extract)
    - Check & EFT payment data (how to extract)

    Hi,

    You can view the data entity structure by clicking on button "Entity structure" and fields by using the option "Target fields"(as highlighted in the attachment).

    Please check if below entities can serve your purpose:

    - PO and attached document (how to extract) -- Entity Name: Document types
    - GL & Subledger data (how to extract)           -- Entity Name: General journal account entry; Target entity: GeneralJournalAccountEntryEntity
    - Invoices customers data (how to extract)      -- Entity Name: Customer invoice journal, Customer invoice journal header, Customer invoice journal line
    - Check & EFT payment data (how to extract) -- Entity Name:Payment transaction code, Payment transactions

    Hi Richard,
    for PO information, you'll need Purchase Orders, Purchase Order Headers V2, and Purchase Order Lines V2 data entities. The standard data entities don't fully support document handling attachments yet so you'll have to create new entities to be able to support import or export from DocuRef.
