Production Order Delivery Dates Moving

    Hello,

We have something strange happening with some of our production orders regarding the delivery date and we are having a hard time figuring out what could be causing it.

To give you some background our production scheduler creates a production order for the FG part and using pegged supply it will generate production orders for the children.  Typically whatever delivery date that the scheduler inputs into the parent production order carries down to the children production orders, but on some we are finding that they are somehow getting automatically changed and we can't figure out how or why.

    Here is an example:

The scheduler manually created a production order for A10578 and with pegged supply it created the 3 children production orders.  After the scheduler changed the status to estimated, in about 20 minutes, they will go back and see that some of the children production orders are changed to a status of Scheduled and the delivery dates are moved out and they have not touched the order in any way.  In this example, the delivery date entered for the parent was 7/14 and after the status changed to scheduled it changed the children delivery date to 8/5.  We do not manually schedule operations and schedule jobs.  We manually create, estimate, release, start, RAF and end.  Sometimes even the delivery date will move out on the parent production order without the scheduler modifying.  This issue seems to happen to a certain group of FG parts and their respective children.

If anyone has experienced the same issue or has an idea to what may be happening, it would be appreciated greatly.

    Thanks,
    Tim
