    Has anyone found a Customer Portal / eCommerce solution that works with AX?

    Hi Andrew,

    Which version of Dynamics AX are you referring to? The latest version of Dynamics 365 (Retail) comes with its own eCommerce platform built into the ERP framework.

    Hi Andrew,

    Can you elaborate on what you mean by Customer portal? Are you looking to display invoices and allow customers to access and pay from there? This might be different from an eCommerce solution so just clarifying your intent. Sk Global - sksoft.com (ISV) has a solution for integrating invoices to a portal and allowing for payment. This is fully integrated in AX as a module. They call this ePay and can work in conjunction with their Credit Card Advantage solution. We have partnered with them for many clients and it is an excellent product.

    There is an AX customer portal that can be used for this purpose. I'll refer you to the MS docs for info (below) as I have not personally worked with it or implemented it.

    Enterprise Portal for AX had a customer self-service portal but it was depreciated. However, you can transition AX 2012 to Dynamics 365. It is a complete suite of enterprise-based solutions and has a portal framework inbuilt into the system.

    Talking about Dynamics 365 customer portal, it helps you manage orders, invoices, cases, documents, and customers from one defined space. 
    The best part is that you can customize it. For instance, if you want more features in the order management module besides tracking and viewing history, you can get it customized.
