What all would I need to add to a role in order to give a user limited access to only view the Accounts receivable > Customer > All customers module?

    Hi,

Please add the SecurityPrivilege "CustTableView" to your required role to provide view access to form "CustTableListPage".

    Jack,

You can either use an out of the box role that has Read permission to the CustTableListPage menu item, or you can create new security that only has that privilege.

The easiest way to find out what security you need to assign is to use task recordings of someone performing the process and then analyzing them for the security elements used. I have a blog post on how to do this: https://alexdmeyer.com/2018/10/24/obtain-menu-items-from-dynamics-ax-2012-and-dynamics-365fo-task-recordings/

Feel free to reach out with any questions.

This is not scientific, but if you browse the duties and privileges and filter by the words "inquire", "view", "review", you can pretty easily identify the items to include in a new role.  I notice that there is a duty called "Review Customer Master" which may be all you are looking for.
