REQ approval

    I had a REQ with invalid coding dimensions enter into workflow and able to be approved by users in the workflow.

    It should have error'd out due to the invalid coding that doesn't match the approval hierarchy.

    Can anyone offer any insight into how this could happen.  In the past, this situation always resulted in the workflow Stop Error.

    Hello Wes,

    I do assume you are referring to a purchase requisition? I haven't seen stopped errors in the past. Are you able to change the dimension coding on the purchase order? Not sure how you did the setup of dimensions, account structures, advanced rules in your environment. Also I don't know how you did setup the workflow configuration. So, happened is impossibly to say for me.
