Can anyone advise how can security roles be linked to custom popups ?
Trying to identify security access to some popups in the system.
The security task recording does not provide any references.
Can the developer the created the custom popup assign security

    Thanks

    Leah,

Normally pop-ups are controlled by the menu items on the pop-up themselves. So the security isn't to the pop-up themselves but the individual objects in them.

Can you provide the task recording and maybe a screenshot of the pop-up that you have questions over?

    Thanks Alex,

These are customised popups, opening directly from the menu.

Task recorded the path to these menu items.

When opening recording in security diagnostics for task recording , no security options displayed.

    Leah,

Can you provide the .XML or .AXTR files you created during the task recording? The reason I ask is because I have written in the past about gaps in the security diagnostics for task recordings feature within D365FO and am the lead developer on the Fastpath Security Designer solution which addresses a majority of these gaps.

So I can run the task recording against our tool to see if we can get any additional information about the security required.

Leah I'm not sure if your attachment is being stripped off your messages but I see your Word document but no AXTR file in either post.
