Our April 26 chapter meeting is a bit eclectic. It has a diversity of topics…including workplace diversity! Sound interesting? Well, let me tell you more.
Gregor Newland and Ellipse Solutions are great friends of our chapter. Gregor will present the first educational topic of the day: Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations – Continuous Update.
We've all heard the rumors about Project Evergreen and the new monthly cadence for D365 updates and now the plan is in place. At Ellipse Solutions, we believe this is a breakthrough in the Enterprise ERP space. It is something unmatched by competitors in this market. While the vision of always being on the 'latest and greatest' is an attractive one, what are the implications for the average D365 customer?
We will examine:
If D365FO is on your roadmap, you don't want to miss this session!
Our second educational topic comes from Rachel Profitt, Microsoft MVP and Director, Client Solution Architect, RSM US.
Enabling Productivity on the Production Floor with Manufacturing Execution will show you how to get started with the job card terminal and job card device in your shop floor. You will learn how to setup and configure the screens, discuss security options for the job card, and navigating and using the job card. We will discuss use cases for the functionality and best practices for creating work instructions for your shop floor users. This session is applicable to AX2012 or D365FO.
During lunch, we will break into groups and discuss various topics related to workplace diversity and inclusion. How do you foster gender equality in your organization? What steps can you take to encourage diversity in the recruiting and hiring process? Be prepared to share your insights on these topics and more!
We will conclude our jam-packed day (pun intended) with a tour of Algood Foods' jelly and preserves facility just a few minutes away in downtown Lawrenceburg. Be sure to wear closed toe shoes to participate.
Let's keep that Chapter of the Year momentum going! Be sure to register so we have enough food for everyone. See you soon at BCTCS Lawrenceburg!
