It is with a heavy heart that I share the sad news of the sudden and unexpected passing of one of our AXUG Kentucky members.

Jeff Whitley was a friend and former coworker of mine at Algood Food Company. He was a seasoned developer and report writer, working mostly in AX 2012 over the last several years.

He was a huge supporter of the user group, regularly attending AXUG Kentucky Chapter Meetings, Focus, and Summit. He regularly volunteered to be a moderator at the annual AXUG Summit as well.

Jeff originally hailed from North Carolina and you could hear the southern influence when you spoke to him. He was always polite and embodied the spirit of the southern gentleman.

Jeff loved his family and leaves behind a wife, Vivian, two sons, Jamie and Caleb, and a dog, Gunnar. His sons played soccer for many years, and Jeff volunteered as coach for their soccer teams. He spoke of his family with great pride and supported them greatly in all of their endeavors. He was a true family man.

In recent years, Jeff took up the hobby of walking and then running. He enjoyed the parks in Louisville with one of his favorite parks being the Parklands.

Please keep Jeff's family and the Algood Food Company team in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

    Jeff Whitley

Thanks for the post, Kelly.  Our hearts break for Jeff's family and for his Algood family.  He was an active member of our chapter, as Kelly describes, and he will be greatly missed.  Our July meeting won't be the same without him.  So sad...
