    Thanks Luca
I'm surprised how few MS partners have picked up on the usefulness of this new feature.
It will take time, but they are still stuck in the old AX ERP solution of every gap is a costly software development

    Hi Brian,

I was intrigued to join this discussion when I saw the title.

I'm not sure what's the context and whether this was a reply to another thread, but I do strongly agree with you about the usefulness of PowerApps and the great potential to rapidly building added-value business applications.

We're a leading partner in this area under our PowerApps services.

I'm interested to hear your thoughts for such D365O gaps which can be met with PowerApps.

    Thanks,

    Hi Moutasem

We are initially keen to exploit power apps in our areas of field sales and warehouse logistics.

    Apps such as:

Inventory look up, check stock and update

    Picking and packing orders

Building contents of pallets of stock

    View and take orders remotely

Customers product catalogues to view and place orders

The list goes on once you start, but the key aspect that has got us excited about power apps is the ability of power users to create and manage them.

The challenge will be how far you can go without resorting to purchasing addon applications or contracting expensive developers

    Very interesting scenarios.

Some might be already covered by D365 Operations mobile workspaces that Microsoft recently released [Link], while others might need an app as you thought.

Your team could give it a try, but if you want to fast track the process with the first app so you can build more for less later, eBECS offers a FastApps service to help with that [Link]
