Long time supplier declaration

    Hello,

When exporting outside of europe (or when selling to customer doing so) we need to be able to state if the goods have been produced in Europe or not, and that involves some fine calculation based on the country of origin of the raw material.  Long term supplier declaration can be established, or the declaration can be done only for specific orders, if my understanding is right.

We're looking into customizations for doing so.

Is there a standard functionality we would have missed?  Else, how to you manage it in your companies, do you manage it outside of the system, or did you do some customization of your own?

    Thanks and regard,

Alexandra, we have struggled in this area too. We have used various custom reports to give us a steer on value of purchased materials in manufactured goods and then lookup origin info. Not a very robust approach I'm afraid.

    Hello Jonathan,

    Thanks for your feedback!

I also received private messages which are aligned with what you're saying here.

Sounds like the standard is weak here and that making customizations is a must in this area, unfortunately!
