Hi Wendy,
Also would suggest that investigating the Bluestar PLM solution. Probably the most extensive suite of solution capabilities to support Engineering processes and activities for D365FO available in the channel today. So much so, you might see it as a potential replacement for SolidWorks PLM. If replacing SolidWorks is not up for discussion, then the two solutions mentioned in my previous reply to Dan on this thread from a year ago are worth looking at: Product Engineering from To-Increase and Engineering Change Mgmt from ERPsolutions.biz. Finally, if your desire is to keep all engineering change mgmt functions solely within SolidWorks and just integrate those processes and their inputs/outputs with D365FO, then what your really asking for is a prebuilt connector/adapter. In that case, solution I would recommend is the offering from Elmo Solutions:
https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/dynamics-365-business-central/TYPE.connect|PUBID.elmo-solutions-1359869|AID.al-erp-d365bc|PAPPID.00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000?tab=Overview.
Have worked with many companies over the years in this area of solutions architecting and know it can be a complicated discussion to have between all the various stakeholders in this area and their varied needs. If you and your organization would like assistance in navigating through this selection process, please do not hesitate to ask by contacting me directly.

Hi,
We are a manufacturer who is about to implement D365 F&O and are looking for 3rd Party solution for Engineering Change and Product Data Management. We are using SolidWorks PDM and would love to hear from anyone who has integrated the two or is familiar with potential tools/vendors.
Thanks!
