Sales Order Under delivery

    Good morning all,

I am working on Sales order under delivery for bulk products which rarely go out with exactly 45000 lbs per tank trailer.  Wondering how others have resolved this issue.

    What I have done-

    Enabled on A/R under/over Delivery
Enabled pct of under/over Delivery on Item master
On Work created from released orders I cannot change the qty on the screen, but can on the emulator because of the worker setting to allow over pick.

Our process has our shipping dept notify customer service is the amount is less than the 3% threshold and getting customer confirmation.for both over and under.

    Hi Maggie

Have you considered using the 'catch weight' functionality? The document below refers to AX2012 but I assume similar functionality exists in D365

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamicsax-2012/appuser-itpro/about-catch-weight-items

    Regards

    Dave

No we turned that off as it complicated things even more.  I am just surprised  I  can short pick on a emulator screen but not the actual work detail screen.
