Automated Close Tools (TX Matching, Acct Rec, Task Mgr)

Curious if anyone utilizes a tool like Trintech' s Cadency or Blackline (or similar tools) that include high-volume (retail Credit Card volume) transaction matching functionality with multiple (many) parsing rules along with account reconciliation automation and month-end close tools.  We are looking at upgrading our toolset and would like to hear what people use within AX365 (we are upgrading to this in the next year) or what they've used as an integrated partner and pros / cons.   If willing to share Company / reference on a tool especially if you've tried either of the two mentioned with AX365 that's an even bigger plus.   #FinanceandOperations

    Hi Rob
A company that might be able to help with your request, is SKG (SK Global). I know they have a Treasury Automation Suite of products and may have the reconciling tools you are looking for. I have had many clients use their solution and have been very happy with the results. Another option might also be Red Maple, but I cannot speak to their product - I have not worked with them first hand.
    Hope this helps you.

We are working to finalize a decision on these tools ourselves. We looked at Blackline, Cadency, and Floqast. We ruled out Blackline fairly early because it seemed to be much more than we were looking for and we didn't want to pay for stuff we would not use. I would recommend taking a look at Floqast if you have not.

Thanks for the info I'll definitely take a look at Floqast.  Our biggest challenge in a tool is the high-volume multiple parsing rule matches needed to reconcile our CC and online payment methods within our payment accounts which is where Cadency and Blackline seem to seem to have much more functionality - glad to hear of other options!

    Hi Rob,

I have not used either of the tools you referenced but agree that SK Global has a great software that could be of use to you.  I have implemented Treasury Automation for many clients and they love it.  In fact, I try to get all of my customers to use their automation tools. They also have several other automation products available:  AP Automation, Credit Card Advantage, and ePay Advantage to name a few.  Here is a link to their website:   https://sksoft.com/ .  I am happy to chat with you about my experiences with implementing their products.

    Stay safe,
    Missy

Microsoft Appsource which is a open source platform lists the available options that can be explored on a trial basis.

Have  a look at the following link which lists the apps in the retails and financial services space for Microsoft Dynamics 365

Aico Account Reconciliation  and Aico Closing tasks is one option that can be looked into:
