D3FO interactive processing becoming slower over time

  • 1.  D3FO interactive processing becoming slower over time

Has anyone noticed a substantial increase in the amount of time it takes for screens to load after go-live?  (We went live with our second module 7 months ago.)

If so, did Microsoft do any performance tuning?   Is there a transactional archive procedure that anyone is doing?  (Microsoft, ISV or custom?)

    Thanks Everyone!

Performance is a permanent area of attention for us and more technically savvy people from our partner can probably give more details but from what I know Microsoft advised us to clean up batch history as one of the regular things to do to keep performance good.

Microsoft doesn't do active performance monitoring on the different instances of their different customers - at least to my knowledge - but they provide you with a number of tools to monitor your own environment.
On performance there have been several tech talks. I would suggest to look at those:

There are also tech talks about monitoring your environment but I don't know which are the more recent ones.

    HTH.

    Hi Cindy -

Our users started experience this issue in several areas. The root cause was a bad index.  We opened a ticket with MSFT and they were able to run a performance imporement script and this restored our performance.  If your users are still seeing slow transistions or filters, then you may want to submit a ticket with MSFT to investigate.  They may want you to run a trace on the activity that the user is experiencing slow performance in so you may want to see if you can repeat the issue or grant the user the proper role to allow them to start and upload the trace data.
