Sales Tax-Direct Delivery

In AX 2012: I have a customer sales order that is associated to an intercompany PO/SO that is fully delivered and invoiced.

Can someone confirm if the line item sales tax group is locked after the intercompany portion is invoiced?

When accounting tried to change it, they get this error:
    Safety Level Error

    Thank you!

These are 2 separate and distinct things.

    1. The error message you see is a result of having turned on "change management" for orders, and setting up to not allow users to modify order details after a certain processing  stage.

    2. Regardless whether or not (1) is in effect, all your sales tax posting happen at time of invoicing.
If AFTER you invoiced an order you realized you posted the wrong sales tax amounts it will not help you to change details on the sales order (as the invoice has already been created) and you will have to find a way to adjust/correct your sales tax in a different way.

The intercompany part has posted the invoice.  But, the one to customer has not posted.  We handled all the intercompany and direct delivered to our customer.  When prepping the paperwork to bill the customer, we noticed the VAT is wrong and wanted to change the item tax group but it won't let us.

Is that blocked once the intercompany is posted since it was direct delivery?

Can you check if changing the following parameter in AR parameters allows you to make the change
