QC dock check adds the ability to prompt users to perform a simple accept/reject quality check during inbound processing of inventory. When the quality check step is in a work template being processed, the mobile device user will be prompted check the quality of the inventory they are currently handling. The results of this test will be stored (associated with and viewable from the work line). If the quality check fails, then the current work will be cancelled, and new work will be created to take the inventory to a quality processing location. Optionally a quality order can be created when the check fails.
Quality management for warehouse processes extends the capabilities of the current quality management feature. It allows users to integrate item sampling controls into the warehouse receiving process. Work can be automatically generated to take inventory to the quality area by percentage, fixed quantity, or based on every nth license plate. Quality orders can now optionally be automatically created for the inventory being sent to the quality area and are not always required.
Once a quality order has been completed, work will be created to take inventory to the next location in the process (quality fail, storage, etc.).
