In D365 FO, we have functionality for copying data (setup/configurations/parameters) from one legal entity to another using copy into a legal entity and cross-company reference, is there a document or any information onto when is to use which functionality. which one works for what.

    thanks in advance

And for data entities, suggest to leverage data templates, see which all areas needs data to be exported/imported and accordingly create your data project for legal entity copy
