Vendor Portal not allowing edits intermittently

Is anyone experiencing an issue with the vendor collaboration portal where the vendor can see the PO, however the "suggest changes" option is not available (PO is in "unanswered" status) or if it is available, when it is selected, the fields that should be editable are not.
In addition if they are able to edit the PO, if they stop mid process and go back to the PO (now in "edited" status) when they attempt to continue editing they should be able to select  "view changes" and then a new window opens and they should be able to select "edit" as an option, but the Edit button is not available.
I should note that the vendors are primarily in Asia.

Cathy, we have also had the intermittent issue where the vendor cannot see changes, or we cannot see that the vendor has submitted the invoice.  we were not able to do a reliable replication of the problem, so our ticket with Microsoft was closed.

I will say that the actual application of the vendor portal is much less than the sales lit -- it's not a fully baked solution.  Love the concept to be able to work with vendors that do not have EDI, but this solution needs work IMO

    Hi Cathy,
We've had Microsoft tickets for the Vendor Collaboration Portal pretty consistently over the last 2 years, since we went live with D365.  I do know that they are starting to put some fixes in.  I'm waiting for one that is supposed to be available in Application 10.0.5 or 10.0.6 regarding the proper version showing to the vendors (currently it doesn't always show the most recent version, which causes no end of headaches).  I agree with Chris that this area of the system needs some work!  We only manage purchase orders through the portal and do not use for invoices.

Hi Heather, Good to know we are not the only one experiencing this issue. we are currently working with Microsoft and I am actively testing  version 10.05, however so far we are not finding that the fix has changed anything. Vendors still cannot see changes, or even make changes, and if they leave the portal and come back to a PO they started to edit, they can not continue to edit. We are still able to reproduce the issues when we set up internal users for testing.  Are you able to tell me if you or any users experience the situation where the  "suggest changes" option is not visible upon entering the portal?
Hopefully there will be a fix soon as both you and Chris pointed out, this is not working the way it was anticipated or "sold" to us.

    Hi Cathy,
I'm supposed to start testing on 10.05 this week, so I'm VERY disappointed to hear you're not seeing changes with the fixes that were supposed to go into place. The most recent issue we ran into last week was that the vendor wasn't seeing the "accept, reject, changes, etc" options at the top when they were in the latest version of a PO.  It did show up on an earlier version, but wouldn't let them accept because it wasn't the latest version.  Very annoying.  The fix I found to work around that was to confirm the PO on our side, update the PO to prompt a new send to the vendor portal and have them accept that version.  This worked in my testing, I'm still trying to get confirmation from the vendor that they can get in and accept the PO though.  It's possible something like this might help with your missing "suggest changes" option as well.
