Ashley:
I would surmise that you have a batch job setup by the system administrator role to run an inventory recalc on a periodic (probably daily) basis. I further would strongly believe that this batch job running the inventory recalc (simulated inventory close to true books and perpetual into alignment for financial updates) is making these entries assigned to that user ADMIN which would be stamped on the voucher audit trail.
Inventory recalc does these true ups not only on negative onhand but on transactions initially recorded at one cost that upon financial receipt gets updated to the known cost and pushed through the value chain.
Perhaps this was it. Cannot really tell without digging into the weeds on your system settings and transactions. Hope this helps
Sincerely,

Not always negative, however we do have a value left over in those batches. Be it negative or positive.

I believe this is AX doing what it is 'supposed' to do and trying to make the GL match the sub when it comes to financial dollars. That is if I am understanding your situation correctly. Does the inventory have a negative financial value prior to AOS admin fixing it?

Subject: AOS Admin. correcting negative inventory
Good Afternoon,
We are currently running 2012 R3 and upgraded from CU8 to CU11. We allow our physical inventory to go negative. Since the upgrade, we're seeing the AOS Admin role post an inventory adjustment to fix the negative inventory automatically and back dating to fix the transaction the day that it went negative. Does anyone know what is triggering this?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you
