Separate AOS as Batch Server Only Performance

I'm using AX2012.  We recently setup a second AOS to run as a Batch only server.  After doing this my expectation would be to see the new Batch only server to do all of the work for any batched reports.  What I saw was that the primary AOS was still doing all of the work, even though it is not setup as a batch server.  We followed the documentation and setup all of the appropriate configurations.

    Any ideas?

Note: I'm on 2009, but I can't imagine much of this has changed.  I too have a dedicated batch server, as well as three client AOS's that I allow for batch processing overnight (master planning, etc.).

Did you edit the Batch batch group to only contain the dedicated batch AOS?  Dig around in the Server Configuration and the Batch Groups - you should be able to find out what's configured incorrectly.

If the issue isnt resolved by reviewing the server level items, you may want to look at the batch tasks to see which AOS they are listing on the general tab.  If it isn't linking properly, put the batch in withhold status and then back in waiting status to see if that will pick up the new AOS.

Sorry if this is a duplicate response, but I don't see my original one on the site.  Let me know if you'd like to discuss.
