    Hi all,

We are pretty new to Dynamics 365 for Operations. An odd thing I discovered recently after we did a database refresh of our sandbox environment (UAT). As you may know, whenever you refresh an environment in Dynamics, as a standard rule all of the user accounts, workflows, and batch jobs are disabled.

Of course my account as System Administrator is still enabled so I can log in and turn everything back on after the refresh. I am trying to set up another system administrator who can perform these duties in my absence. But other people that have been granted System Administrator role in Dynamics were turned off after a refresh.

Is there a role or privilege in Azure directory or LCS that has to be set up outside of Dynamics to ensure that the account is not turned off after a database refresh?

    Thanks

the account you can log in after refresh is it the account that is tied to your administration of the Subscription.  My guess is that is the reason you have access and all the other accounts are turned off.
In the 1st D365 we did we also used the IT directors email for the subscription and deployment of the environment.  when it should have been a new AzureAdmin account not tied to a specific person.

you should check with your Microsoft Architect that was assigned to your account and see if there is a way to update the account or add a back up.

    best of luck.
