How To Write A D365 Edit Method

By Peter Ramer posted Oct 25, 2021 11:29 AM

Most of the time the data you want to show on a form is stored in a field on a table. Using display methods you can run code to determine what is shown. A limitation of a display method is that the value cannot be edited. A D365 Edit method, tied to a form control, lets you run code on both what the user inputs and what is displayed back to the user.
