Nigel is a partner at enVista enterprise solutions, responsible for all services delivery. He has been implementing ERP solutions since 1978. Almost all went live successfully, some were stellar, and some not so stellar. He has learned as many lessons as he has taught. His first success was IBM MAPICS go live in 1980, in England, leading the project and heading IT. For 18 years he implemented ERP solutions as an employee, generally leading the implementation from either Materials management or IT. Since 1996 he consulted with a much larger number of clients, working for PeopleSoft, JD Edwards and (briefly) Oracle. Since 2005 he has exclusively consulted with clients implementing Dynamics AX (3.0, 4.0, 4.0 Lean and AX2009) and is considered an expert for Dynamics AX Manufacturing, with special focus on Product Builder and Lean Manufacturing. Nigel’s goal, in this short presentation, is to share some lessons learnt and insights to improve your chances of success and, in particular, how best to work with outside consultants.
If you wish to contact Nigel before or after the event, please email him directly at ncox@envistacorp.com.
